ones are other human players and green ones are your friends." |

Money-making |
Runescape Help offers a page on how
to make money. One thing to do is buy silk in Al Karid (purchased for 3 gold each) and sell them in the clothing shop in Varrock (for 16 gold each). Be sure to wait a few seconds between each transaction when selling so the price rises back to 16 gold. The
round trip from Varrock (including selling) takes about 20 minutes, and
it's common to return with 20 or so silks for a net profit of 260
gold. |

Prayer*
|
Prayer increases by burying bones and simply using prayer. Prayer can be recharged at any church's altar. One way to increase prayer is by going to an altar, running ALL prayers that you can simultaneously, then clicking on the altar to recharge.
By picking up then burying enough bones, you raise your
prayer level. One place to pick up bones is in Edgeville in and
around the two buildings closest to the bridge. Perhaps an even better place is the house and cow pasture area just north of Lumbridge. Also
see the Prayers
section in the first chart.
And a tip of the
helm to Gunn Associates for the following: "Free normal bones
can be picked at ghost town (nothing guarding). Big bones can be picked up
at around level 20 wilderness on the east side, but guarded by level 31
armed skeletons (beware). Normal bones give you 3.75 prayer experience when buried (15 prayer exp
for each 4 bones). And big bones give you 12.5 prayer exp when buried (25
prayer exp for each 2 big bones)." |

Wizard Items |
For runes, see the rune shop in Varrock, or defeat dark
wizards in the "Stonehenge" circle just southeast of the south Varrock gate
or at the Wizard's Tower.
For staffs, see the staff shop in Varrock.
For hats, visit the magic shop in Port Sarim. (Blue hats are better than black.)
For robes, check the general stores or defeat wizards in the
"Stonehenge" circle just southeast of the south Varrock gate or at the
Wizard's Tower. (Blue robes are better than black.)
Actually, a good place to search for
blue hats and robes
is in the Wizard Tower and on the ground a bit northwest of the crossroads just north of Port
Sarin. It seems a lot of
players fight mages there and simply leave the hats and robes on the ground.
For black capes, defeat the Highwaymen. Highwaymen can be
found only around the crossroads just
north of Port Sarim. They always drop a
black cape. Blue capes can only be purchased in the Guardians Guild
building; entrance requires 32 points of questing experience. (Blue
capes are better.) Red capes have no armor effect.
Gloves and boots can be purchased at general stores.
Alternatively, you can kill cows to get cowhides, visit the tannery in Al
Karid to have it made leather, then use a needle and thread. (If you
start in Lumbridge, take the bridge to the east and then take the road
that runs north, you'll find cows in an enclosure on the right-hand
side.) Al Karid has a crafting shop that sells needles and thread. |
